OSLO – Opera Opera Mini is claimed to reach 30 million users. Even during August, Opera bold claim if the new user growth occurs almost every second.

Other countries that have Opera Mini is growing most rapidly during July-August, including Australia (52%), Georgia (34%), Vietnam (20%), Kenya (19%), France (16%), Philippines (15%), Brazil (14%), Kazakhstan (13%), Pakistan (11%), and Malaysia (10%).

“Opera Mini proves that the key to continued growth of mobile Web is the availability of a full browser,” Tetzchner said.

Expressed Tetzchner, Opera has been trying hard to encourage Opera Mini can operate on any mobile phone, since Opera’s mission is to bring internet sites around the world, and the phone is the most important communication tool to achieve that mission.
