Facebook still has not stopped being the target of a virus that wants to attack users of social networking sites. New variant of the Trojan Horse called into action by fishing Bredolab victims through fake email.

Some users claim to get an email entitled “The Facebook Confirmation”, in the fake email. Like that was launched by security company MX blogs Labs, Thursday (29/10/2009), see the email address written service@facebook.com. However, the manager admitted that Facebook is a fake email address.

In addition, MX Labs found that the email was accompanied by an attachment Facebook_Password_4cf91.zip” and “Facebook_Password_4cf91.exe”, which contains the information if there is a new Facebook password. When users download a file, a Trojan virus which has inserted Bredolab steal files directly through the Internet, such as anti-spyware fake.

“Email is sent with the attachment of the virus infiltrated. Facebook does not send the new password as an attachment. We hope that users can be careful,” explained the Facebook.
