News: Firefox 3.6 Beta 1 Brings Windows 7 Integration

Mozilla has released the first beta release of Firefox 3.6, which comes with some nice Windows 7 integration features. More specifically, the Firefox 3.6 beta integrates with the new taskbar in Windows 7.

What this means is that tabs within Firefox will show up as previews when you hover over Firefox’ taskbar entry in Windows 7, much in the same way Internet Explorer 8 already does it. China has just released a super computer devices. They claimed this machine is the fastest computer in the world, and demonstrate their efforts to become a leader in the field of technology.

This super computer developed by the National University of Defense Technology, a China military academy. These computer devices noted ranked fourth in the 500 list of fastest supercomputers in the world.

News: Phishing Attack Twitter more often

Twitter users should be careful clicking on a link that did not clear the source. Therefore, it becomes microblogging services targeted phishing threat.

Phishing is sent containing the message with a link in it that led to the Twitter login page, where the page is actually false and can steal user passwords.

News: 11 Critical Bug in Firefox 3.5.3 patched

Mozilla recently patched the browser Firefox 3.5 and 3.0 it, each to version 3.5.4 and 3.0.15. Total, with 16 patches there are 11 critical bugs in Firefox 3.5.3 addressed. Meanwhile, Firefox 3.0.14 get 10 patches, with 5 marked improvement as critical.

Several bugs that allow exploitation allows the malware authors to run the code that is not allowed on user machines. This includes a parser bug in the GIF’s Firefox and bugs in some third-party modules – liboggz, libvorbis and liboggplay – which all added in Firefox 3.5. Continue Reading »

Facebook still has not stopped being the target of a virus that wants to attack users of social networking sites. New variant of the Trojan Horse called into action by fishing Bredolab victims through fake email.

Some users claim to get an email entitled “The Facebook Confirmation”, in the fake email. Like that was launched by security company MX blogs Labs, Thursday (29/10/2009), see the email address written service@facebook.com.
